Chiarastella Cattana is a fabric designer based in Venice, Italy.
Her work weaves traditional craftsmanship with contemporary colours and patterns.
The entire collection is made in Italy, especially the jacquards are crafted in the old mills located in Alto Adige, on the Dolomites mountain.
Stella's penchant for mixing different threads together gives her fabrics a life and texture that are her signature.

Stella's Venetian store is located in a former 17th century “scuola“ — or congregation, near by Palazzo Grassi. Alongside her linens, she curates, commissions and sells unique contemporary pieces that are rooted in craftsmanship, as the works of Murano glass artists Yali and Domitilla Harding, the whimsical clothing lines of Ants as well as Italian modernist furniture and lighting.

With the design team she also does custom made orders and bespoke interior works.
