  • Opening April 2023: “Una Stanza”, a room conceived as a vessel for the conjoined visions from the collective imagination of the textile editor Chiarastella Cattana, the architect Edgar Jayet, and the glass artist Akira Hara.
“Una Stanza” investigates tensions within the otherworldly feeling of encountering a familiar and well-known thing in a situation that is not. Set in a historical building in the Brera neighborhood, the room is crowned by a luminous beamed ceiling of green blue that instantly disrupts any preconceived ascetic notion of the gallery space. Brilliant and lively, the color itself speaks as if with a voice of its own, retelling a familiar past that we have experienced before.
The room presents itself through layers of identity: an illusion of a domestic scene, cozy and inviting, that lulls the viewer with a sense of familiarity, challenging her perception by projecting a series of objects whose manifest presence hints at the collection of memories and feelings that they contain. There is more to this room that meets the eye, every
sensation recalls another, reverberating echos of our collective experience.
This room is a memory palace, densely layered with meaning, dialogue and encounters, housed inside a wardrobe with its shutters, covered by the textures of the fabrics presented.

  • Raso 121 in five variations; four solid colors: space blue, citrine yellow, viridian green, egg white. The last variant is the sum of the first. A stripe that alternates six solid colors with a contemporary twist.Yarn-dyed threads gives the fabric palpable saturated vibrations that stand out for their exceptional depth, and which, with satin texture, attain silk-like density and brightness.
Catenella newly developed jacquard fabric with a puffy, irregular appearance, thanks to a special tubular linen yarn. The fabric, therefore, is characterized by a dappled materiality and strongly suggestive textile evidence. Thus appearing in the barren, earthy warp is the image of a field, which is tinged with different textures: egg white for winter, the blossoming of a light blue for spring, an arid yellow for summer, and the freshness of an aquamarine for the damp autumn.
In addition, the project presents a new Jacquard collection with designs inspired by with organic- geometric themes. The intended effect is always the same: to escape from the static two-dimensionality of repeated patterns with designs that recreate three-dimensional perspective and reliefs, enlivened by chiaroscuro and tactile effect.
Altheas is elusive and perennial, vivid and somber, figurative but also hissing and every inch of it is the setting for a different sequence. It is the tale of a dreamlike world, suspended between the shimmer of day and the rarefied night. The length of day lives in the opposite sides of the fabric and spends its hours among the intricate branches that host, in an endless flow, flowers, hummingbirds and dragonflies. It is a representation of a dream with its symbols, its magic, its hues and shades.
